Q: How is Woodside Farms related to Chickahominy Falls?

A: The 10-acre heart and soul of  Chickahominy Falls, Woodside Farms is a four-season, professionally managed farm that will grow a curated mix of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers for the homeowners of Chickahominy Falls.  Woodside Farms also includes The Barn, the social and educational hub of the community.  The Barn features a chef’s kitchen designed for 5-star cooking demonstrations and community events, plus a large patio, outdoor fireplace and plenty of space to gather inside and out. Woodside Farms is a distinct amenity for the Chickahominy Falls community but is separate from the Community HOA as it is owned and managed privately.

Q: Are Woodside Farms and The Barn open to the public or only Chickahominy Falls residents?

A: While we are committed to serving the Chickahominy Falls community, the farm and barn are also open to the public. Chickahominy Falls residents will receive discounts on produce, workshops & classes, and facility rental.

Q: Who manages Woodside Farms?

A: Woodside Farms is professionally managed by Sean Sheppard, the farm manager. He oversees the greenhouse, fields, and all the details in between, with Field Manager, Kara Siewers.

Q: What produce will you be growing?

A: All kinds! From kale and lettuce to potatoes and peppers. We will have a wide variety of vegetables, herbs, fruits, and cut flowers! See our "About Our Shares" page for a detailed seasonal list!

Q: Can I have a tour of the farm?

A: If you're interested in a farm tour, please email the main office at info@woodsidefarms.net to set up a private tour.
