Farm Tours

Weekly Farm Tours

For individuals, families, or groups of less than ten, we offer farm tours to the public, with a suggested donation of $10/person.

Walk the fields with our farm crew and learn about farming in Virginia; our basic farm practices, from seed to sale; why we grow without the use of synthetic chemicals (and how we manage pests and weeds); the importance of diversity on a farm; and why we use composting, cover cropping, and crop rotation. You will have a chance to ask questions on the tour, as well.

If you'd like to schedule a tour, please contact with a few time options that work for you as well as the number and ages of all tour members
