Landscape Crew

This job description details a position intended for an entry-level individual seeking experience on a traditional landscape crew.  Deliverables/responsibilities include everything from property maintenance to custom installations.  No experience is necessary, though a background in landscape, horticulture, etc. preferred.  Starting pay is $14/hour, but more available for individuals with at least 1 year of verified experience on a landscape crew.

Mowing / Trimming / Clean Up - weekly maintenance of 200+ homes in a single community, including mowing, trimming, clean up, pruning, weeding, etc

 

Landscape Install - support on the installation of plant material, hardscape, fencing, outdoor carpentry projects, etc

 

Equipment Maintenance and Service - support in maintaining a fleet of equipment, including mowers, blowers, trimmers, pruners, hand tools, track equipment, etc.

 

Nursery / Plant Material Management - support on propagation and maintenance of perennial, woody shrubs and tree material used for installations

 

Individuals must be able to work in all weather conditions for 8+ hours per day, 40 hours per week throughout the year.  Some positions are seasonal (April - November), with the possibility for year-round/full-time work with benefits after 1 year.

 

Opportunity for advancement to foreman, manager, and director positions or the right candidate with training
