Our first farm stand of the season is coming up! We’re getting so excited. With the return of the farm stand, we’re also welcoming back our Friday volunteers! So roll up your sleeves, put on your mud boots, and check out our website if you think you’d be interested in volunteering!
Our farm stands are located under the big white pavilion right in the heart of the farm just next to the greenhouse. From there you can see where all your favorite produce grows! We’re a bit of a one-stop-shop with the addition of eggs from Pinwheel Farms, beef and chicken from All Good Acres, bread from La Bella Vita Bakery, and more to come!
When you come to our farm stands we’ll have you line up along the greenhouse, making sure to comply with COVID regulations of a few feet between you and your line buddies, and a Woodside Farms employee or volunteer will walk you through the tables of produce as you pick out your week’s groceries. Your safety and comfort are our priority so all produce will be handled by the person walking you through so you don’t have to worry about too many points of contact.
In the event of rain, we’ll have the farm stands in the Red Barn, but those decisions will be made closer to the time of the farm stand. So if you’re questioning where the stand is being held on a rainy day, check our Instagram and Facebook feeds.
Our farm stands reflect the changing seasons and so each week may be different! Stock up on our fresh spring greens, turnips, radishes, and carrots early on in the season, and keep your eyes open for the return of tomatoes, melons, squashes, and cucumbers as the days get longer. We also love flexing our creativity muscles and will be arranging flower bouquets for sale as soon as our pollinator beds begin to bloom!
